Resources on Campus

University of Oregon Police Department – The University of Oregon Police Department is a full service police department, available 24/7 to provide assistance and services to the campus community.

Human Resources – Human Resources provides a multitude of services and benefits to UO employees, many of which are listed on the HR website:

Office of Investigations and Civil Rights Compliance – The Office of Investigations and Civil Rights Compliance is a resource to the UO community and can assist in connecting victims/survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence or stalking to available resources.

Ombuds Program – The Ombuds Program is offered as a service to employees and provides a safe and confidential place to seek information and to discuss almost any type of concern and explore options and the resources available to resolve them. It is intended as a resource to help find answers to questions about available programs and resources.

UO Domestic Violence Clinic – The UO Domestic Violence Clinic provides comprehensive civil legal services to low-income victims of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Duck Rides - Duck Rides is a free shuttle service for students and employees. Student workers and leadership from Safe Ride, Designated Driver Shuttle (DDS) and Campus Shuttle are now under one program to provide safe, accessible and inclusive rides for the UO community.

UO Employee Reporting Responsibilities 

Child Abuse (all UO employees) -  Employees of Oregon higher education institutions are by law mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect. To make a report, follow the instructions provided on the Department of Human Services website. If you have questions, contact Mandatorytraining@uoregon.edu.  

Discrimination and Discriminatory Harassment (all UO employees) - To ask questions, discuss concerns or to make a report review the Office of Investigations and Civil Rights Compliance website or contact the OICRC office: oicrc@uoregon.edu, 541-346-3123

Sexual Assault Support Services – Sexual Assault Services provides outreach, advocacy and support to survivors of sexual violence.

Hope and Safety Alliance - Hope and Safety Alliance provides emergency services, outreach, advocacy and support to victims of dating and domestic violence.

Lane County Victims Services – Lane County Victims Services provides assistance to victims of crimes and also provides assistance with restraining and stalking orders.

UO Employee Assistance Program – Canopy provides a wide variety of employee resources, services and assistance. For example:

  • Crisis Counseling: Clinical staff are available to triage crisis calls or speak with anyone requesting a counselor by phone, or to meet with employees for individual counseling sessions. Clinical staff are available 24/7 and immediately available for all callers.
  • Legal Counseling: Legal staff is available to provide free telephone consultations, information and assistance.

Lane County Legal Aid and Advocacy Center – provides legal assistance to low-income Lane County residents.

Eugene Police Department – The Eugene Police Department is a full service police department, available 24/7 to provide services and assistance to Eugene citizens.

Lane County Sheriff’s Office – The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is a full service law enforcement agency that provides assistance and services to citizens residing in unincorporated areas of Lane County.
