The UO and GTFF held their first direct bargaining session today for a successor agreement. The GTFF outlined their priorities, which include summer support for GEs, academic freedom and free speech, labor communications, consistency for research assistants, and protections for under-represented groups and non-U.S. citizen GEs.
The university presented Article 39. Printing and Distribution of the Contract.
The GTFF presented the following articles:
- Article 8: Nondiscrimination and Anti-Harassment.
- Article 24: Health Insurance.
- Article 27: Support and Resources for International GEs.
- Article 35: Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
- New article: Academic Freedom and Freedom of Expression.
